David, the psalmist king, knew how to tell about God. He never once boasted of his own exploits in his songs. It was always the Lord who was his focus. In his psalms we see David,
the needy man or the penitent sinner or the disappointed friend, and always the man whose confidence and salvation and health were in God. Added to this his songs often encouraged others toward praise and worship and sharing their faith with those around them. How much is the focus of our conversation upon Him?

TELL IT!
When God has saved,
Your path has paved,
Tell it!
When He doth ease
And bring you peace,
Tell it!

Tell it! Tell it all the day!
Tell it! Tell it on your way!
Tell that God doth ever bring
Answer true to everything.

When God has taught
Or healing wrought,
Tell it!
When He stands near
To calm your fear,
Tell it!

Tell it! Tell it all the day!
Tell it! Tell it on your way!
Tell that God in Heaven above
Keeps His child in perfect love.

Prayer: Dear Lord, keep my focus upon You. Help me to tell folks whom I meet of Your love and salvation.
