September 6th

Read: Psalm 91 and Psalm 16:1-3 and Proverbs 31

I want to be an excellent saint, so I must be an excellent woman. The Scriptures are full of ways to be what our God delights in. That means that I must allow God to work His excellence through my life so that I will delight Him and bless others.
Do you reach high for excellence when you tackle any job you must do?

REACHING HIGH
Whatever you would do in life,
Reach high; think big, not small.
For with God there to guide through strife,
You can encompass all!

When evil seems to threaten you,
Fear not those shadows deep,
For God doth cast a shadow too,
A shade when paths are steep.

And in that refuge you may hide
‘Til trouble passes by;
He’ll comfort and, when fears subside,
He’ll help you gain the sky.

Be not content with second best
When only best will do,
For when your faith can pass that test,
God’s plan will work through you.

Prayer: Father, make me a woman of excellence so that I might delight You and others will be blessed.
