Read: Rom. 8:14-17; John 1:12 & John 14:26; Prov. 30:13-19, 24-31
There is so much to learn from God’s creation to know and understand Him better. We see His wisdom in each creature, His order in the seasons, His artistry in the sky, His care over His creatures in the provision for their needs, His laws in seed time and harvest, His magnitude in the oceans, His variety in sea shells and flowers. How can anyone doubt Him?
TAUGHT BY GOD
When I think on a spider’s web
Or a mole digging ‘neath the sod,
Finding his way in a darkened world,
I know they are taught by God.
When I spy an oriole’s nest
A-swing from a treetop limb
Or watch a beaver at his work,
I know they are taught by Him.
When I watch a migrant duck
Teaching her young to swim
Or see the salmon swim upstream,
I know they are taught by Him.
And when I see that order lies
In whatever these creatures do,
And remember that I’m a child of God,
I know He will teach me too.
Prayer: Dear God, thank You that I am Your child and You are my teacher. Help me to listen closely and look keenly at all You try to teach me.
