Read: Mark 4:38; 1 Peter 4:6-7; Eph. 3:13-21; Jude 1:24

Sometimes we recognize God’s loving care of us in the things He does for us, His provision, His peace, the people He puts in our lives, His salvation through the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. Often, however, I see His care in the things which He is able to prevent in our lives … our falling, angry responses, despair, evil and temptation.

People around us see themselves as the suppliers of needs and protectors from danger and healers of the body. We who believe are so blessed to know God’s loving care in all these areas. What relief to know that we are not the ones who are responsible for them in the eternal sense.

HE CARES
He cares or faith would not renew each moment of the day.
He cares or I would fall and faint each step upon the way.
He cares or friends would not respond with sweet encouragement.
He cares or I could not feel calm when men their anger vent.
He cares or I would not find peace whene’er I kneel in prayer.
He cares or spirit would not lift when I approach despair.
He cares or babies would not smile at every hug and kiss.
He cares or He would not accord to us sweet times of bliss.
He cares or He would never call across life’s stormy sea.
He cares or I could never worship Him on bended knee.
When Jesus removes all my guilt and every burden bears,
No matter what the world may say, I know my Savior cares.

Prayer: Dear Father, thank You for Your care over me and my family. Help us to share Your goodness with those around us who may not see You as we do.
