Read: Psalm 19
Do you ever have beautiful moments which you live over and over again as something triggers memory? I do. I savor them each time they come to me. Some are moments of sharing with loved ones. Some are moments which seem unrelated to events, but stand out as perfect shards of time held forever to bless me, God-sent moments … like this one:
CRYSTAL MOMENT
Vaulted bright and blue and high,
The untouched beauty of the sky
Transcends joy and brings sweet pain
Unto my breast.
Alive with clarity the air,
Surpassing crystal `tis so fair,
Wraps me in transparent skein,
And I am blest.
I move as if by dream controlled,
Lest fragile autumn moment’s gold
Fall in shatters as dry leaves may fall
When touched by breeze.
My heart lifts and soars on wings
And with joy His praise it sings,
While mighty God His wonder weaves
O’er sky and trees.
Prayer: Dear Lord, please help me to remember that each moment of my life is from You and help me to savor each one.
