God’s treasury is never depleted. He gives to His own children according to His riches there. Provision for all our needs is there. Blessings beyond our wildest dreams are there. If we are in right relationship with Him, in full fellowship with Him, and obedient servants of His, He does not dole blessings out in dribs and drabs. Rather, He opens the windows of Heaven and pours them out into our lives.
GOD’S TREASURY
Ever more I draw from Thee
Blessings from Your treasury,
Measured by Your bounteous hand,
Though I but dimly understand
The true depths of Your love.
Often, Lord, I come to Thee
With self awry, my only plea
That my spark of faith within be fanned
To flame that ever will expand
Till self burns out in love.
All Your good avails for me
If I but trust, though I mayn’t see
Just how all things are as You’ve planned,
If I but trust and ever stand
On the promise of Your love.
Prayer: Dear God, thank You for Your blessings poured into my life. Help me to allow Your love to burn away self from my life as I stand on Your promises.
