Read: 1 John 1:9; Rom. 3:21-28 & Rom. 10:9-10; Mt. 4:4-11; Eph. 6:11-171 John 4:4; James 4:7

When we lose sight of Satan’s activity around us, we may be in danger of his noticing us. He may think that we are defenseless or that we are not fully aware of his power. He cannot stand to be ignored.

Paul, in Ephesians, instructs us to keep wearing God’s full armor. The only weapon we Christians have is the Word of God. We need to wield it faithfully.

CONFESSIONS
If Satan isn’t real to you,
Just think of him this way …
Line up all the things you do
And everything you say.

Now put God’s searchlight on them
And take a real good look.
Examine them ‘gainst all you know
About God’s Holy Book.

If any are not truthful
Or any lacking love,
You know at once they can’t have come
Approved from up above.

That means that Satan has tempted
And you have sinned that day.
Don’t wait another moment!
Tell Jesus right away.

He is faithful to forgive
If to Him you confess,
And He will always help you live
In truth and righteousness.

For Jesus battled Satan
And won at death’s dark door.
If you will let Him fight for you,
You’ll live forever more.

Prayer: Dear Lord, help me to be aware of Satan’s activity without being fearful. I know that Your power is greater than his. However, I need Your help and Your full armor to resist him so that he will flee.
