God’s written Word, the Holy Bible, has been my guide to a deeper relationship with His Living Word, the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the very image of God and whom I can know in a deep personal way. How blessed I have been to have the Bible available to me and to be able to use it, carry it, and to teach from it without the fear of interference from others.

GOD’S WORD
Your Word is pure and righteous, Lord,
Its truth stands firm and sure.
It gives me understanding, Lord,
Keeps me from sins’ allure.

Your Word brings peace and order, Lord,
To world’s disturbing trend.
‘Tis Alpha and Omega, Lord,
The beginning and the end.

In hour so dark and dreary, Lord,
Your Word is hope to me;
Delivers me from fear, Lord,
And helps me settled be.

Its light brings vision clear, Lord.
‘Tis dearer than world’s wealth.
Its lamp lights up my path, Lord.
Your Word means life and health.

Christ Jesus is Your Word, Lord,
My great Redeemer King,
All these good gifts He doth afford …
My life, my everything.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for Your Word and for its availability to me. Help me always to use it, as Your desire would be, to deepen my relationship with You and to share it with others.
