Read: Isaiah 26:1-13
My salvation is the protection God gives me against Satan and his demons and against this ungodly world system which surrounds me. The imagery of Isaiah’s passage, which you just read, reminds me of the power of my God and how His protection surrounds His children.
I ask other believers, “What is the one thing which salvation has brought into your daily life?” Their answer is usually “Peace.” I agree with them wholeheartedly.
GOD APPOINTS SALVATION
God appoints salvation
As a buttress ’round man’s life,
A wall for his protection
For shelter from world’s strife.
Salvation unifies him
So fearful strivings cease.
Its strength always supplies him
With God’s transcendent peace.
Then if man will obey Him,
Submitting stubborn will,
And will not let world sway him
Nor yet his fervor chill.
Reward will be a conscience
Cleared and fear’s release,
Assurance of God’s presence,
And all-pervading peace.
Prayer: I praise You and thank You, 0 God, for my salvation. May I always live to please You.
