Read: 2 Timothy 1:5-7; 1 Peter 2:15-16; Romans 6:11-18
God wants us functioning for His kingdom, freely using the gifts which He gives to each of us. In Christ we are free to do what is right and good in every circumstance, free to choose those paths of righteousness in which we will be led by God. (Psalm 23:3) We are even given Holy Spirit power to do so.

THE GIFTS
I’m a spiritual being
Exploding with power,
Undaunted, far seeing
In this darkening hour.

Because love is mine,
God’s gift through His Son,
Redeemer Divine,
My freedom is won.

In a capable way
I can use every skill,
And with disciplined sway
Bend myself to His will.

Prayer: Dear Lord, show me Your right choices each step I take and empower me to make Your choices my choices.
