Each day is a fresh start, and it will bring more opportunities to make right choices and to serve God.

THIS MORNING
This morning is a painted sky
And gently stirring breeze
With patterned clouds a-drifting by
And a whisper in the trees.

This morning God’s forgiveness turns
The darkness into light,
And all creation harks and learns
Its wrongs were lost in night.

This morning is another chance
For each and every one
To use the precious time God grants
For good which must be done.

This morning is the tenuous thread
A-linking all past years
With that bright morning up ahead
Where there will be no tears.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for this day and its possibilities. Please guide me through it.
