Read: Isaiah 60:3; Col. 3:4; John 17:20-24; Rev. 18:1; Phil. 3:10

The believer has been given several things by Jesus to hold for Him until His return. He has given us His resurrection power … that’s dynamite power! He has also given us of His glory! The reason? That we may be one, as He is one with the Father. He has trusted me with these precious things! He has entrusted them to you, as well, if you believe on Him.

GLORY
We cannot look upon God’s face.
His glory shines too bright,
For ’tis composed of love and grace
Translated into light.

But when we look at Jesus Christ,
Somehow He comes to view.
We gaze into His eyes of love
And feel His strength anew.

He walked along earth’s dusty paths.
He slept ‘neath sky and trees.
He felt both pain and sorrow here
And often sought his knees.

His glory lies within each one
Who follows in His way.
The power He shares as risen Son
Is ours to use each day.

And someday all the light we share
Will rain upon the earth
And banish every worldly care
As nations tell His worth.

Prayer: Dear Lord, with Your help and Your precious gifts I am empowered to witness of You and Your redeeming love. Keep me faithful with that which You have trusted me.
