Have you noticed how rapidly moments sail past us? Each moment should be held precious because it holds God’s impression on our lives. Not one of them can be lived the second time, so we must glean whatever is in it before it gets away.

MOMENTS
The gift of this moment brings promise anew;
Life’s force preserving,
Devotion unswerving,
Love to meet sorrow,
Strength for tomorrow,
Sense of achievement,
Calm in bereavement,
Truth to meet blindness,
Stranger’s sweet kindness.
The good in this moment holds promise for you.

God grants the blessings each moment doth bring …
Joy of a bright day,
Friend met on life’s way,
Family surrounding,
Music resounding,
His Divine order,
Jesus, our Warder,
Bloom of bright flower,
Prayer’s blessed hour.
You must prize moments because they’re a-wing.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for all the moments of my life. You have been working in each one to bring me closer to Yourself. That is just where I want to be, Lord … close to You.
