Peace, joy, love, and comfort were just some of the gifts the world received from God when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea. They are all due to God’s miracle-working power to cause a virgin birth. His sinless life and our atonement and redemption were all worked out on that night!
MIRACLE OF CHRISTMAS
The miracle of Christmas
Was but the very start
Of all the life-filled miracles
I ponder in my heart.
The miracle of Love’s Light
Was shed abroad that day,
Infilling many hearts and minds
Where once but fear held sway.
The miracle of God’s Word
Sent to the human soul
Was told by men and angels;
Hosannas did extol.
The miracle of worship,
As shepherds found their place
Beside the kneeling Magi kings,
Acknowledged God’s great grace.
And miracles in my life
Now happen every hour
As peace and comfort quiet me
With knowledge of His power.
Prayer: Dear God, thank You for Your willingness to plan and carry out my redemption
