True joy is a rarity?! John 15:9-11
Not so, with Christ inside of me! John 17:22-26
My joy is full and from above;
I’m in the circle of His love
And know His grace.
There is no tranquility?!
Not so, with Christ inside of me! John 14:27
When His Spirit comes to live,
Then peace of heart He’ll surely give
And fears erase.
Prayer is unreality?!
Not so, with Christ inside of me!
I know that my request is heard John 15:7
If I abide within His Word
And seek His face.
No such thing as liberty?!
Not so, with Christ inside of me! John 8:31-36
Jesus is the truth indeed, James 1:25
And by His blood from sin I’m freed James 2:8
To love embrace.
I must pay sin’s penalty?!
Not so, with Christ inside of me! Rom. 6:23
Upon the cross He paid the price! John 3:13-18
He was the atoning sacrifice! Matt. 27:51
He took my place!
God will still my error see?!
Not so, with Christ inside of me! Rom. 3:21-26
Jesus stands there in between!
Only His righteousness is seen
And His ‘loved face.
Paradise is fantasy?!
Not so, with Christ inside of me! Luke 23:43
He witnessed that ’tis really ‘there’, John 14:2
And even now He doth prepare
My special place.
Prayer: Help me, dear God, to make the Presence of Christ in me a reality that I may know abundant life, full joy, liberty, and peace.
