November 22nd

Read: Jeremiah 1:3; 1 John 4:19 and 1 John 8:16

How does God proclaim His love? By coming to earth as a newborn babe named Jesus and experiencing all the ups and downs which His creatures experience, then dying on a cruel cross in judgement for their sins, our sins. By providing for all our needs in all areas of our lives. By the beauty we see all around us: the clear night sky with the moon and stars, the smile on a baby’s face, a deer’s graceful movement through a forest of green-leaved trees, a rose sprinkled with dew, or the view from a hill on a bright autumn day. By His presence all our lives long.

FROM ALLEN’S HILL
From th’encircling heights above I see
The valley and lake below,
Where Autumn’s glory is spread for me
Like a patchwork quilt aglow
With red and orange and russet there
On a backing of brightest green,
And yellow sunlight floods the air
To bless the resplendent scene.
God’s handiwork is brightly framed
By a clear cerulean sky,
And I see His love to the world proclaimed
In beauty as I pass by.

Prayer: Dear God, thank You for expressing Your love in so many ways. Help me to express it to others.
