COME, ENTER IN
“Come, enter in; here is for thee
My life so rich and full.
Here daily blessings wilt thou see
To ease the long, hard pull.”
The Savior waits so patiently,
His invitation tells.
He calls us forth in charity
To mansions where He dwells.
He offers His own nail-pierced hand
To guide us on our way,
But we must seize and understand
That we are His for aye.
“Come, enter in,” the Savior calls
And draws us to His side,
“I’ll steady thee whate’er befalls
And ever will abide.”
By yielding up our hearts to Him,
By letting Him control,
All thought but His begins to dim
And we are clean and whole.
“Come, enter in. Oh do not wait
Until thy life is spent.
Come, enter in the wide-flung gate
Where you will be content.”
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for being the entry door and that my faith unlocks it.
