Read: Matthew 2:1-12
Just a little bit of Christmas whimsy. Do you twinkle when you remember something done for Him?
A CHRISTMAS STORY
Once upon a holy night
Stars all gathered ’round
To hear as angels’ song of joy
Filled heav’n and earth with sound.
They stayed to watch the shepherds go
On trembling legs to see
The Christ-child born in Bethlehem,
To worship on bended knee.
The brightest star then ventured close
To the manger where He lay.
It bathed the Babe in Heavenly light,
Then asked if it might stay.
The stars that still watched there above
Saw then with great delight
That God chose one of them as guide
For kings who rode at night.
And even now on starry night
Their brightness does not dim.
They twinkle as they still recall
That service they did for Him.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for Your story and what it means to me.
