Did you ever notice the exquisite perfection of a large snowflake on your coat? Each one is said to be one-of-a-kind like fingerprints or DNA! How can God do that? It requires millions of snowflakes to cover a 6 x 4 foot picnic table, not to mention a whole town or county! In Western New York State, where I lived most of my adult life, we got snow storms which dumped up to twenty inches of snow! Think of the infinitude of designs in all those snowflakes! Think of our God whose mind and hands can create them. He works to make us unique and perfect too! Wonderful thought!

FROSTING

Snow is the frosting of wintertime,
A glazing of white to cover the grime.
It softens the branches of barren tree
With a coating of soft virginity.
It covers the ground of an open space,
Leaving a dazzling, trackless place
That draws the mind from its worldly care
To consider the bits of perfection there,
Each crystal a flawless bit of lace,
The quintessence of transitory grace,
Each flake a pattern of God’s design.
In myriad scores they trace a vine.
In myriad myriads they drift down
To spread their icing on a town.

Prayer: Dear Lord, I thank You for the infinity which is You, for Your creative mind and power, and for Your continued work in me. Help me, Lord, to cooperate with You as the work continues.
