Read: Job 14:7-9; Lamentations 3:22-26; Jeremiah 33:3

Hope is one of the sweet benefits of a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. We have not only the hope of Heaven for eternity but also hope in our present circumstances, whatever they may be. When we are knocked down by life, we have a very present Help in God. When we turn to Him and call out to Him, He is able to pick us up and set us on our way again to an even better life.

RENEWAL
Though Life doth send us reeling
With blows we can’t evade,
The scent of hope comes stealing,
Doth every part pervade.

So comes God’s sweet renewing,
As to a tree hewn down
Comes scent of water imbuing
New Life, then new growth’s crown.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for renewing me so many times. Help me always to hope in You.
