Read: Psalm 68:19; Matthew 6:9-15; Psalm 40:5

God loads us with benefits daily! The Hebrew word ‘ load ‘means a heavy burden. In other words God piles the benefits on us, not once a year or once in a while, but daily! Think of it: our daily bread, our daily living quarters, our daily clothing, our daily sunshine or rain, our daily walk with Him, our families, faithful friends … If we were to count our benefits each day, we would say with David, “Thy thoughts which are toward us; they cannot be reckoned up in order unto Thee … they are more than can be counted.” How should we respond to all this? With daily thanksgiving and praise, with daily worship and adoration, with daily witness to others.

DAILY PRAYER
Father in Heaven, hear my plea.
Let Your name e’er holy be,
Spoken only lovingly
Upon these lips of mine.

Let Your will be done e’en now.
Show me what to do and how,
Keep my hand upon the plow.
Ever my heart refine.

Meet my needs from day to day.
Help me nevermore to stray
Off the straight and narrow way
That Jesus did define.

Let me e’er Your glory tell.
With Your power Satan quell.
Let sweet praise forever swell
From this soul of mine.

Prayer: Dear Father, that is my prayer
