I dearly enjoy a game. Any sort will do. God knows this about me, so when He wants my full attention, He sometimes uses a game! The best time for me to enjoy my special fellowship with Him is in the early morning hours when everything is waking up. He calls me from slumber to show me His wonders and His love for me.

HIDE AND SEEK
Softly, softly in the hush of dawning
I hear You speak.
Your presence stirs my soul from sleep a-yawning,
For `hide and seek’.

I seek You high and find You in the rustle
Of morn’s fresh breeze
Springing soft to set the leave a-bustle
In waking trees.

I seek You far and find You in the glowing
Of morning star
Hanging bright in the heavens, showing
Where You are.

I seek You low, and from a tree comes dropping
A fledgling bird.
I watch him seek his morning fare, a-hopping,
And know You’ve stirred.

I seek You deep, and find You in the growing
Of peace within,
As You reveal Yourself in life’s sweet flowing.
You let me win!

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for knowing me so well and responding when I seek You with all my heart.
