Read: Luke 2:8-14

Sometimes the hurry and crush and noises of the Christmas holidays override the truth of the manger. We need to key our ears, tune them to the glory of God’s own Son lying there in preparation for His ministry on Earth and His death and resurrection. If we ask Him, God will help us with this, and we will bring pleasure to Him and glory to His name.

CHRISTMAS SOUNDS
In all the hustle, bustle days
That Christmas brings each year
I thank You, Lord, with song of praise
That You now tune my ear.
I give You thanks that ‘midst the noise
Of Christmas-shopping throng
I’m still attuned to Christmas joys
And still hear angels’ song.

Prayer: Dear HEAVENLY FATHER, help me to be attuned to You and the truth of the manger this year.
