November 7th

Read: 1 Corinthians 16:109; Colossians 4:2-4; John 7:37-39

In Christian service one is often looking for open doors, as Paul did. Just because a door is open, it does not mean I am to walk through it. When a heart opens, however, it is always an invitation to get involved. I am so thankful for the hearts God has opened for me.

DOORS AND HEARTS
I ask my Lord to open doors
So I can see my way.
I know that though I am tried sore,
He’ll hear me as I pray.

Sometimes He doesn’t answer me
As I think I should be led …
I ask open doors so I can see …
He opens hearts instead!

Prayer: Dear God, show me the open hearts around me and help me to respond in Your loving way.
